To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

Angelical Goddess Ascalonian Squire Join Date: Nov 2005 Guild: Wolf Demon Tribe	casters only change req item Hi, I dont know if this was posted here before but I had a idea about a pve items for casters(staff/focus) or shields. Lets say you are a 16 domination mesmer and a monster drop for you a nice staff for you, but the req on the staff is 7/8/9+ smiting prayers , so my proposal is that the merchants in towns outposts sell a change req item/tool like for 500g that changes the req of the weapon you want, but it will be random, and also the numbers of atribute points req to use the weapon will change too, and finally this tool will have a 10% of chance of failure destroying the item and the mods on it. any comments or toughts welcome
